Petal dreams....

Finally summer arrived or at least summer temperatures. Did you recognize the delicate smell of cherry blossoms, peonies and other flowers and trees? I simply love the easiness of spring. And thats the feeling your clothes should reflect!
Wear cropped pants or midiskirts with floral prints or a simple blouse. The colors peach and green match perfectly floral prints! Here some of my favourite pieces for this season...

May I take your order ? Apricot sorbet !

Since the weather isn´t really what it should be in april... at least where I live... what could be better than distracting ourselves from these cold days with the spring wardrobe essentials! And one of our bathroom essentials ( or wherever you keep your nail polishes) is this color: 539 JUNE CHANEL! It reminds me of apricot sorbet and the longing for refreshments on hot summer days!
And don´t worry; you don´t have to have clothes in similar colors in your wardrobe! It goes with any color!

Good advice is rarer than rubies!

Sometimes a DON`T can be much more worth than a DO! Today I´d like to write about the way to wear
accessoires right. The effect of a good choice of accessoires on an outfit is often underrated. Jewelry has the task to complete your look and not to spoil the right choice of clothes. Here some useful tips:
DON`T combine silver with gold!
( even if your watch is silver and you´d like to wear gold or the other way round)
DON`T wear a necklace and earrings together!
DO always care about the different styles of jewelry, never mix them up!
And now DO´s of the season:
Wear bracelets and bangles in rose gold! ( looks great with pastels)
Buy at least one art deco style piece!

All about ice cream!

I know, you have probably read a lot of posts about the new trend of pastels! But I simply had to confess my love to this shades! A few years ago, those colors were condemned to be the favorites of  baby girls and were more likely to be found on a birthday party of a 6 year old than in the spring collections of haute couture labels.But times change.........This spring will be all about rose, mint, purple and other creamy shades. And of course there is a way to wear them right! Try to combine mint with brown and gold accessories! Maybe with a brown bag, or a tiny bracelet? .....While rose and pink look stunning with silver flats or other silver jewelry! So girls give it a try!

Funkeln im Herbstnebel

Endlich ist meine lieblings Jahreszeit da! Naja genau genommen schon seit mehr als einem Monat. Dicke Pullis, Ponchos, Stiefel, Schals. Ja im Herbst kann man sich so richtig austoben. Da darf natürlich der passende Nagellack nicht fehlen. Und richtg!! Diesen Herbst darf es ruhig mal etwas mehr sein. Neben den knalligen Accessoires in Senfgelb, Nachtblau und Rubinrot haben sich die aktuellen Nagellackkreationen der Modehäuser auch verändert. Was vor ein paar Jahren noch an die 80 er, spitze Krallen und Frauen über 60 erinnert hat wird jetzt zum absoluten Must-have. Die neue Generation der Nagellacke darf nun auch wieder richtig glitzern und funkeln! Na dann... Lasst euch auch von Quartz, Graphite und co. in die richtige Herbst/ Winter Atmosphäre versetzen ;)
